Inspired by leather furniture and traditional molding, sewing, and weaving techniques, each piece is a direct response to the surrounding environment and attempts to explore the nature of Place and experience the results from that journey. In video documentation, the suspended works are tested with both body and stone; the photographs show them as they might be found or uncovered within the natural environments with which they are in communion. The final result has no clear ending and the only answer to the struggle of finding Place is that there is none, all we have is our process.
